I come to this conclusion as a number of years back I submitted some nice Bust Halves & Morgan dollars for Certification, coins I purchased at Coin Shows before the Internet age... One of the Bust Halves that I purchased as AU+ (and looked like your coin), came back "whizzed to look unc.", and others came back as " cleaned and Artificially Toned"... Prior to this, I never knew what a whizzed coin looked like, now I will never forget... Report this Post to the Staff

If it is whizzed, you should be able to see some circular scratches in finer details.
