I understand the concept of the Fancy Serial Numbers, but what I am not clear on is the use of all 8 serial numbers on a particular bill. For example; The number 100 is read as 100 whether it appears as 100, or 0100, or 00100. The Bill in Question has a series of numbers (that would be considered a Radar) following a zero (0). I know this sounds like a technicality but just want to be sure, Thanks!  |

A true radar note includes all 8 numbers when applicable.
Some older notes used shorter serial numbers.

Thanks for the links cashhound! I posted a couple "almost fancy" notes a while back and of the two, the coolest (90069008) got an 89.3% on the Universal Coolness Index.  Classified as "almost cool".  In Memory of Crazyb0 12-26-1951 to 7-27-2020

I'm diggin' the "coolness Index" Unfortunately, you will never ever see or hear mention of a "coolness index" or "coolness factor" associated with a note in an auction description from a major auction house, except maybe ebay.....never at Heritage, Stacks, Spink, or Lynn Knight. |
