I am slowly learning more about doubled die coins but this one caught my eye... Is it in fact a good find or just a plain 1917 Wheat penny? Opinions needed. Thanks!

I can't really tell from these pictures, so can you post clearer/closer ones?
This was the first doubled die I ever found, so naturally I had to take a look.

It looks normal to me, but like Numisma says better pics might help.

I certainly can't see evidence of the doubling from these pics. I've only seen a few of these over the years, but it's almost a naked eye pickup because the motto and date appear thicker than normal.

As mentioned the Motto is also affected by the hub doubling:

Note how the hub doubling enlarges the size of the devices? We don't see that on your coin.

I have a "17", it's kinda dirty though! Any suggestions on how and if I should even attempt to clean it?

I don't know if it is just the lighting but it looks like some kind of planchet issue to me
