No. At $21500, she is far beyond my reach. The other half I posted for grading is more my cup of tea, but was also out of reach at this point in time at just north of $4k. That piece got snapped up in less than two hours, before images were even posted.

Deep pockets? Nope.
I had to sell off my entire collection about 8 years ago to help finance a move from California back to Canada. My father was suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia. No regrets.
Trying to learn from the mistakes I made the first time around, I have made the decision to limit my acquisitions to one or two pieces a year of the best pieces that I can afford, and put together a nice box of twenty. Trying for a type set of dollars first, and then halves. That's the plan, but it remains fluid so that if the right piece comes along.....
That's what's so wonderful about sites such as this. I can enjoy all your new acquisitions along with you, which certainly helps me with the long periods between my own.
For that, I am truly grateful.
