Hi!
I have a 1962 penny with unusual double R in "liberty" obverse.
Im wondering if this could be a die break, mint error, Cud or damage?
Its neat. Curious what could have caused the " R" to look this way.
Thanks all

I'm fairly new to errors but I would venture to guess that it was caused by a small die chip.

Appears to be a die chip, I have seen this referred to as a "skirted" R

Yep. That's a small Die Chip on the R. Also, I don't see any doubling at all.
