coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 04/01/2009 12:01 pm Its a separate issue. The obverse die is able to be adjusted and when out of adjustment it creates the MAD coins. The extreme one Cole317 found. Most don't carry a premium unless the devices run over the rim like his. Die wear usually flows toward the rim of the coin. An example I found the other day was this one. You can see the outer devices flowing toward the rim making them distorted. Report this Post to the Staff
