How To Open Silver Dollar Capsules?

OzCollection Valued Member Australia 129 Posts	Posted 03/14/2023 04:18 am Hi there, I recently acquired a non-circulating 1977 Senate Throne Dollar in a white capsule, which I am finding impossible to open. Any tips on how to open it? My guess is to use something like a Swiss Army knife, but I'm not sure. Report this Post to the Staff

purelywasted Pillar of the Community Canada 1505 Posts	Posted 03/14/2023 12:44 pm I did it once for 1977. Used a pointed metal item (I think it was a leather punch) with a fine tip and hammer.
