I accumulated several foreign banknotes back in the 80s. I no longer collect them and I have no idea how to place a value on them for selling or trading purposes. Is there a website or other reference that will help with this? I wish to liquidate them and use the proceeds for coins.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Mark

Probably the best bet is take each note individually and use the year of issue to identify on ebay , watch what they go for , ignore the buy it now ones.
From experience of trading banknotes very recently for the same reason as you I found I got very fair offers here on the forum in the classifieds.

Put it here! And it'll be better if you posted this in the foreign banknotes section, but a staff member can do that for you.

If your looking to sell them then do it here. Someone will help you value them. I may even buy them.

Sorry, I haven't had time to research these yet or take pictures. I have never posted pix on this forum before and I've got a feeling it's not going to be easy.

If anything, posting pictures here is easier than it's ever been before.
