Brigitte Bardot On French Coins? - Coin Community Forum

From CBS News and Associated Press: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/brigit...vist-dies-91 Such was her widespread appeal that in 1969 her features were chosen to be the model for "Marianne," the national emblem of France and the official Gallic seal. Bardot's face appeared on statues, postage stamps and even on coins. I have not found any French coins with Ms. Bardot on them, can anyone else locate them? According to this article, it was realized from 1972 - 1978. https://www.rtl.fr/culture/medias-p...e-7794150612 So if you want to find her, you need to find a French coin with Marianne on it (probably a portrait rather than la semeuse), but which was begun 1972 or later.
