fortcollins Pillar of the Community United States 3684 Posts	Posted 03/30/2026 1:32 pm I'm not sure what was going on with the Philadelphia half dollars in 1920, but there are a couple die pair that produced absolute pancake central strikes with strong peripheral strikes. Maybe a basining issue? This looks like a coin from one of those die pair. This coin has strong luster. I wonder if this could be a slider. If it is an UNC, the contact marks would hold it to the 61-62 range. I can't get a good enough feel to take a stab at a specific grade here from the photos, but my hunch is the 55-62 range. Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6405 Posts	Posted 03/30/2026 8:46 pm Nice-looking Walker. The mark on I of "IN" appears to be a contact mark. There is a similar hit at the back of Liberty's right knee. Probably some strike weakness is present but some detail loss is from wear IMO. I'll venture an AU-53 grade. Report this Post to the Staff
