Do these Canadian gold coins have any collectible value, or are the values of these coins based on the spot price of gold? My aunt has 3 of the 1984 coin and 3 of the 1985 coin. As of this writing, the price of gold is $4066.38 per ounce. If all goes well, I should be able to sell one coin to a dealer for slightly less than the spot price. Correct?

You should expect to get a similar amount.
