Size and shape appear to match A in America? Questionable Color possibly die crack and/or Lamination?

I believe you're correct about your coin being a Dropped Letter error. Nice find! The obverse looks normal. Not seeing any errors.

Just received coin today from my favorite e-commerce coin store. It was a little costly and Observe color appears a little questionable but that dropped A makes it worth it..... I hope?

Quote: that dropped A makes it worth it..... I hope? Definitely. That kind of error is pretty rare. It doesn't happen very often. You can get a good chunk of money for that, to the right buyer.

Found a dropped T on Statehood Quarter I purchase directly from US Mint.gov several years ago. In fact, I posted pics here first and learned about 'Grease Dropped Letters" errors. I eventually it sold on ebay for tidy sum. I imagine this will bring considerably more.... if and when I sell?

Very, VERY, nice Personally, I love how it's "hanging" off the wheat stem... Reminds me of that children's book about letters climbing up a tree...

Do the major grading companies attribute these kind of errors?
