In principle, it is now possible to recover tariffs we were charged illegally on coin shipments between April 2, 2025 and February 24, 2026. Here is a link to DHL's process: https://www.dhl.com/global-en/micro...tariffs.html
To be clear, coins that are shipped from overseas to a U.S. buyer are very different from general consumer goods that go through a distribution network. There is simple traceability from seller to buyer, through an entity who collected the tariff (DHL, FedEx, or other courier service, for example). And hence no question about how much is owed (though probably some administrative fees will reduce it).
I'm curious if anyone has recovered $$? (apologies if there is already another thread on this).
