I-Am-New-To-Old-Coin-Finds,-I-Found-One-On-Our-Property-While-Metal-Detecting. I found this near an old homemade brick and clay fireplace. This was what was left of an early 1900 cottage. The coin is 1950. This could have been dropped by anyone visiting the area. As it was farming country in those days. I'd like an approximate value, if anyone could please have a look!

Hello and welcome.

It's hard for us to tell which coin you have, since all predecimal coins have the same design on the obverse. It looks like a 1948-1951 threepence?

Assuming it's a threepence, it's made of 50% silver, so will certainly not be worthless, even if it has minimal collector premium.
