The copper plating was worn off from circulation. It's not an error. The copper plating could of been chemically stripped off or it could be a Texas Cent, if it's larger in size. Errers and Varietys. Also the "silver" you are seeing is probably the zinc core showing through in areas where the copper has worn down. Report this Post to the Staff
