This is no doubt a 1952 cent. How can I tell? It's the ONLY year in which that particular "dagger bottom" five was used on a Lincoln Cent. ALL other years in the 1950s had a larger, more curved five. Indian1 Pillar of the Community United States 3640 Posts	Posted 07/28/2010 11:44 pm This coin reminded me of something I had thought about in the past. Just another "Term" usage. PMD (post mint damage) I wonder how many that use that term are talking about damage to a coin after it physically leaves the mint ? Or do they mean post minting damage ? A lot can happen to a coin after the punch and before it hits circ. Here I am "The" acronym hater and I find myself getting caught up in it now. How about diff. terms. post strike damage or circ. damage. Never mind, theres enough terms/acro's as it is :) Report this Post to the Staff
