This upcoming weekend in Toronto. I'm planning to spend my Saturday there, trying to fill some of my Spanish Colonial holes... Anyone else coming? ~Roman P.S. here's the info: quote:
2006 is the 44th Year of Torex®, Canada's longest running and most popular collectors' show (since 1962) held three times annually in downtown Toronto.
The much-awaited two-day fall Torex® Coin Show will open to the general public at 10am on Saturday, October 28 and continues through Sunday October 29, 2006 at the Radisson Admiral Hotel - Toronto Harbourfront. The October auction will will be conducted in three sessions, beginning on October 27th @ 5:30pm.
The Torex® Coin Show plays host to over 40 of Canada's finest coin dealers in Canadian, ancient and foreign coins, paper money, militaria, reference books & hobby supplies. Torex® is the best place to buy, sell, & trade your coins, ask questions relating to numismatics, join a coin club, and meet other budding numismatic enthusiasts. There will be thousands of interesting coins on display and for sale.
Michael Walsh is the official October 2006 Torex® Auctioneer.
A major Canadian coin certification service, I.C.C.S., (International Coin Certification Service) will have a table at the show manned by Brian Cornwell. Anyone with an interest in having their coins certified or who simply wish to get a better idea of what such a service offers, is encouraged to do so anytime during regular Torex® show hours.
Torex's venue: The Radisson Admiral - Toronto Harbourfront is very easy to get to via public transit. Drivers will discover plenty of public parking for hundreds of cars at the hotel and in surrounding Harbourfront area.
This October 2006 Torex® Coin Show is a must for any coin lover! Admission is only $6.00 and tickets are available at the door. Ages 16 and under are free! See you there!

I bid on several auction lots by mail, does that count? I went to the Torex show a couple of years ago and hope to go again but not this time.Michael always sends me an auction catalogue and I throw a few low bids in hoping so steal something that no one else wants.
