I have a series of aluminum bread tokens issued by EB Harris. I have been looking for information for a while but I cannot find any references to them. I am guessing they are Canadian tokens but I am not 100% sure.

Has anyone heard about Harris bread tokens?

They are from Belleville Ontario in use 1907-1920 and there are 5 types.

Thanks! I will have to look at them again tonight. I have a group of four or five and I think that there are at least three that are different. Are any particularly special or of value?

Tokens can be valued somewhat widely according to the beholder etc. but I am unaware of any values for these beyond the normal $5 to $20 range.

I figured as much....bread tokens don't seem to capture the imagination much. Thanks anyway...at least I know what they are.
