I don't know. If I had to chose between having a depiction of LIBERTY that many people would not understand the symbology of, and actually having the coin state LIBERTY, I think I would rather have the flat out statement.

I have to weigh in here. I like the idea of getting away from presidents, unless we continue the Presidential dollar coin series. I 'd like to see liberty on coins again, Or maybe some national monuments apart fro the national parks quarters. I've always liked the image of liberty on the Peace dollar. I think she's the best looking one. How about the standing Liberty on the quarter again with the washington monument on the reverse.
