Its' value in Krause (KM765) seems to belie its' low mintage, but I am unfamiliar with the general demand for first-year types and low mintages for such coins. Report this Post to the Staff

My technique is an attempt to bring out hidden detail and damage from the original photographs, and the original luster and color suffers for my efforts. The first year of a type (like this Jubilee Head crown) were saved in greater numbers than, say the 1888 or 1889, etc. I sure like the look of that one Report this Post to the Staff
