I was just trying to check on the coin to see if still backordered. The links on the Mint site don't seem to be working.

US Mint site is working fine for me; perhaps it was a temporary issue. Obviously won't be able to tell if yours is backordered, but I can navigate to/through my past orders just fine.
On the product page it states that pucks ordered now won't ship until 5/2.

Yes! Just waiting for all the designs to be released and then finally for the actual coins. We get a preview with the release of the actual quarters early on in the year. A tease!

How many did you order? are they all different coins or just different pictures of the same?

I have 2. The pictures are all of the same coin but I tried using different light/flash to show the dimple. The other coin looks fine :-)
