Picked from Heritage after it didn't sell in the main auction. I'll probably turn it over on ebay.

Wheatback, I'm glad to see a CCF member got that error note in the after auction buys. I considered it as the price is pretty good. However, I'm not really an error collector so I decided to pass. Glad I did.
You did well.

tech/les - Nice pick-ups. If I could only collect one thing, it would be stars.

Wheat - Very nice - I know you don't want to tip your hand, but good luck on re-sale.

Sitting at O'Hare, browsing.

Picked up this nice 1950A SF star recently, raw but with perfect reverse, should go 65. Wonderful paper.

Coinfrong, nothing wrong with collecting Stars, except some can be VERY expensive. Nice SF Star
Sitting at O'Hare--what a bummer! How's the photo editing coming along?

tech - Won't be able to get back to it until I return. Bad form during a funeral visit.

kevro - That's nice - show us some of your other things!

Here is a 1917 $1 I picked up on ebay over the weekend. Spent $60 - how'd I do? Still learning what the "good deals" are in the currency world

Kevro- Just like anything else, the more you collect and spend time browsing ebay and HA you will become more and more aware of the "good deals" $60 I'd say is Fair for that note. Wouldn't consider it a steal or anything..

Thanks Paperchaser. I've collected coins since the early 80's but am only about a couple of months into currency. The paper money bug is a big nasty one and you know for sure once it has bitten you :)

A very fine note indeed. Stars for this issue are quite scarce even at this level and get big money in the higher grades.
