Steve I've heard that the back of that 1914 $10 is of my hometown Joliet, Illinois. Those smoke stacks look awfully familiar. Do you know if that is true?

"The back was designed by Clair Aubrey Huston; Farming, a scene in Manchester Township, York County, Pennsylvania, was engraved by Marcus W Baldwin; Industry, a mill in Joliet, Illinois, was engraved by HL Chorlton. The first day of issue was November 16, 1914."

Nice ones! Just a coincidence that they're all light green seals, or are you starting a new collection?

And by the way, Stefan, where have you been? Fighting off illegal immigrants?

Hi coinfrog, No, I always take what I can get. I life in Germany, no borders, no control. Everyone is welcome. The USA is old fashioned, To protect borders, passport controls, we no longer do this. We create the real Disneyland.

Disneyland indeed! Apparently some Brits disagree with you!
Anyway, you've got a nice start to an LGS collection - most impressive. Hope "amrys" is monitoring this.

Just found this at work, in very good condition for the age of it. Only one major fold down the middle and a few small folds on corners. Still crisp other than that. Seems to be a short run of stars 320,000 from my research. Hate that it is such a high face value. May end up spending if I have to but will try to hold on to it.

justind - this is a really tough note; I'd list it on ebay before spending it.
