Here are two George VI 50 cent pieces- the first 2 images are 1942 and the second two are a 1944 example
I would appreciate some grading opinions.

Thanks,

I didn't pay anything. Since the age of 3 (1951) my uncle would go to the bank and get me one or more silver dollars as a birthday gift. He did this until 1965 when he figured I was too old for all this. I kept them all iand am now trying to find out more about them.

oops. I goofed again. I was talking about my silver dollars (which I am also posting for appraisals. The 50 cent pieces I picked out of the circulating currency. I have been doing this since about the late 50's (yes, I'm a geezer) so it wasn't hard to find these. So what did I pay? Fifty cents.

The second coin is much, much better than the first. So I'll give it a minimum of F-15 and a nod for VF-20.

The first coin is as dull as dishwater. A G.
The second has a better strike but the two wear spots on the face and wear on the shield are distractions. A VG.
