I complemented a $20 bill with an Ike and $4.00 in halves to buy a souvenir t-shirt and, get this, a cassette with digital downloads at a concert. That makes a total of $5.00 in coins spent.

I spent six dollar coins and $3.00 in halves to buy groceries and then I complemented a $100 bill with a single dollar coin to pay for replacement batteries for four watches. That's $10 total in coins for that trip.
Today, I spent four dollar coins and a half at an auto parts store to buy a PCV valve for my car. That's $4.50 total for that trip, for a combined total of $14.50 in coinage.

Since my last post I have spent:
8 dollar coins and 5 half dollars at grocery store
1 dollar coin on a candy bar
4 dollars and 5 halves at the club for drinks and tips
6 dollars at Little Caesars for pizza
1 dollar and 3 halves at bowling
3 dollars at Rite Aid
1 dollar and 1 half at convenience store for partial payment on a hoagie
2 dollars at Taco Bell
