I picked up maybe 8 or 10 lots. I am am most happy with my 1952 Cent PCGS MS66 Red (I think I got the one of the two that was by far the best). Plus I got a great deal today on a few hard-to-find test tokens.

Canadian-Banknotes => sadly, for you Canadian Banknote fellas, I have lately been spending all of my cash on ancient Greek coins => "a fool and his money", eh? => Hey, I still love you guys and I'm sure that I'll continue to pick my punches and continue to pick-off the occasional Canadian Banknote every now and then ... => ummm, but sadly Dude, all of the banknotrs that I need cost mega-bucks ... ummm, kinda like several thousand bucks each, so it is a bit easier to collect Greek coins at $100-$500 bucks a pop ... plus, I'm like a newborn collecting Greek coins => it's quick, easy and fun again!! (kinda like Canadian "used" to be to me) => but again, Dude => I grew-up collecting randon Canadian coins and then I spent my whole life adding to my existing quarter and banknote collections ... oh, and I will continue to buy Canadian coins/bills when they become available ... ummm, but there's gonna be a whole lotta Greek/Roman coins bought in the meantime!! => but holy schmokes => I drop-by daily to see glenzy kickin' butt and the rest of you guys tryin' to keep-up!! => awesome coins, "everybody"!!

Quote: I'm still boycotting TCNC I dislike any and all hammer fees, generally if I can avoid them - I will. But sometimes, there is the occasional coin or grade rarity that has not seen an auction floor in a long time, and then my "have-to-have-it" mode clicks in... Such was the case with Lot 706. I had been searching for a 1956 PL-65 (or better) 1-cent in a bright 100% red, ultra heavy cameo, for about 8 years now... so I had to bid.... http://auctions.tcnccoins.com/1956-...hy_i14034921

I have been a busy beaver with Canadian Tokens this last few months to add to my Canadian cents and pre-confederation copper type set.

I haven't made many purchases lately as I was working on other stuff but after over $400 in pennies searched and no luck I finally bought a 2006 magnetic. Since my small cents are complete (except 1985 pointed) I am starting on the troublesome large cents. I have most from 1900 up and 40+ spares but 1858 to 1900 is a big gap to fill. I hope the lot I bought helps I am dying to find out what is in it but the post is so slow when a new coin is on its way. http://www.ebay.com/itm/13078955962....m1497.l2649http://www.ebay.com/itm/28100974682....m1497.l2649

On a side note the seller of the 28 coin lot found 5 more large cents after the auction closed and included them for the inconvenience of a one day delay in shipping due to a hurricane. Any guesses if the 195? is a 8 or 9?

Yesterdays mail brought a copy of "Some Die Varieties of the Large Cents of British North America and Canada". I opened it up to find this bonus!

Very cool Randy. Not many people have a copy signed by Jack Griffin....
