I think the obverse of the ASE is one of the coolest design on a US coin since the $20.00 St Gaudens gold piece. but I voted for change as an anti counterfieting device. Not that I have ever seen a counterfiet ASE, I hope, but it would be easier to spot a fake if it looked nothing like it was sposed to. Report this Post to the Staff

For my limited budget revolving themes are cover well by the Mint's commemoratives. Offering Commem's in .999 would be more interesting than a revolving design on the ASE. I'd be in on 1/2 oz ASEs. Been thinking that Independence Hall from the Bicentennial half would make an interesting reverse. Report this Post to the Staff
