Haven't found much at all in 2020. Last time in this thread for me was December 13 last year. Until two weeks ago, my favorite grocery Coinstar was located right at the end of a checkout lane manned by a very savvy lady who kept it pretty well emptied. She'd even tell me when she found stuff. (Sigh. She's a nice person or I would have hated her.) But they moved the machine to a distant corner and it didn't take long for me to strike paydirt Found $1.40 in clad and zinc coinage and a silver 1962 Philly quarter as well as 21 Euro cents and 5 pence piece. In addition during all of 2020 I found a 1943 P War Nickel, 2.02 Euros, .45 Canadian, some Chinese coins I didn't bother to identify, but they weren't old, some Caribbean coins, and another two or three dollars of common US coins, including 4 wheaties. Finally, I got a 1901 P Barber dime in change. No doubt if I had been going to the store more than once every week or ten days I would have found more.

I have taught my wife to look in the CoinStar reject bins. When we are at the grocery store, she heads over to the machine every time. Last night she brought back a 1962 Roosevelt. Ahhh - free silver!

Can't compare to John77's recent score, but another reject slot yielded a 1941-D Mercury and a 1964-D Roosevelt. More Christmas silver!

John77,
What a great find! I'm sure that helped make Christmas a little merrier.
