Today's Coinstar finds probably set a record for best finds for me. I went into the grocery store, check the Coinstar machine as usual, and get a few foreign coins, along with a dime that turns out to be a 1953-D! I'm really satisfied at this point, but guess what I got on the way out? $3 in clad, along with ANOTHER 3 silver coins mixed in! This just goes to show that there are idiots who don't care about money (and silver too!) and will literally leave the machine without taking their rejects. And even better, one of the silver coins was a quarter! They're REALLY hard to find, but I managed to get one!

TLDR- I broke my previous record with the silver dimes by finding more silver, and a bunch of clad. My finds today:

$3 mixed clad
1953-D dime
1963 dime
1964-D dime
1962-D quarter (AU condition )

Nice finds! That is a lotttt of silver you got. I wouldn't call them idiots, I would call them blissful.

I have yet to find anything in the coinstars around me... I would assume people are smart around here and even if they don't know something is silver or whatnot they probably check the reject bin and take it with them. Oh well maybe someday someone will slip up. :)
