I got $1.02 in change (two quarters, two dimes, six nickels, and two zinc cents) as well as a 1958-D nickel (which has Rolling Machine Damage and thus will likely get put back in circulation) and a 1977-D copper cent.

Finally get a Coinstar payday!
Decided to hit a different store to see if I might have better luck than my usual one. Nada. Grabbed some groceries and then went to my usual store. SCORE! 98¢ US + a 1977 Canada quarter. But wait, there's more - a 1964 Roosie!!!

Thanks, Errers! I'm still batting about 0.015, but you know that I check the CoinStar every time I enter the store and again on my way out. Just because...

Today when I dropped in at the grocery store, I found in the Coinstar a handful of US Jefferson nickels and recent-date quarters (one of which appeared to have been held on a belt sander), along with :

  • UK 10p 1999 (cupronickel)

  • Chile 1 peso 1977 (copper-nickel-zinc)

  • Japan 1 yen Showa 60 (aluminium)

  • Mexico 50¢ 2022 (steel)

Finally found something in my local supermarket Coinstar today, when I took in my reject pennies today to trade for (no fee) Amazon gift cards. Not a big haul at all, but it was something. I found:

x2 zinc cents
x1 copper cent
x1 Wheat cent (1941-S)
x1 non-silver dime

The dime was stuck to the back of a penny in the reject slot, which is probably why it was rejected. The Wheat cent was on the floor.

Cheers!
