Was in the area, after garage sales, stopped by the coin star and picked up a 2 cent euro.
Ehhhh...first coin star find in a little while.

Yeah, coinstar is getting super dry. It got pretty wet for me yesterday with 2 silver dimes.

Well if you mean dry, I guess I took it to the next level by looking on top of the machine and taking the 2 corroded zincolns even though most people wouldn't care about 2 cents.

I also started looking above the machine.

Didn't have time to look in the coinstar today at Walmart, but at the self checkout I found a penny in the garbage bin

I got more foreign change today, a 1 cent Euro and some Scandinavian coin with the number 5 on the back. And there was also a penny under the machine, as I always look there too.

saw a guy dumping in a TD yesterday... he was still in line when I grabbed his rejects, lol. I grabbed 2 dimes from the slot, looked down and 1 appeared silver at a glance. But it was as Barbados dime and simply a foreign. Darn, that was close. Still waiting for my first reject silver.

I walked by the Coinstar machine at the grocery store that is usually empty except for the 1 silver dime I found in 100 attempts and there was something it in there for once.
Turned out to be a rotted Zincoln.

Found $1.43 in a coinstar yesterday. Earliest date 1985, all clean and no damage at all. Don't know why they were rejected. It looked like someone just dumped what was in their pocket into the return tray. To make it weirder, that makes two in a row from that machine, after six months of skunks. Quarter and a dime last time, both in great shape. Must be a sensitive setting on this one. Still no silver or foreign.
