The 25 Days Of Barber Coins!!

I went surfing again this afternoon on ebay - and found yet another Liberty Head Nickel for my AU 58 set:






I am down to three coins missing from the AU 58 set.
One of which I located in an ICG 58 holder and I cracked
it out and submitted it raw [ with three other coins that
I cracked out ] ... so - its in for "economy grading' at
PCGS - and if I'm lucky, I'll see it by Thanksgiving !

I just pulled the trigger on a raw coin - my YN said I was

wasting my money - but : Once I get it in hand, I'll make

the decision to keep or return it.



I find the toning very interesting - I'm thinking its a 63

but no matter - I just want it in a Graded Holder - if its

an AU 58 - Great !! If it gets in a MS Grade - then, all

the better !!

Thanks, JBUCK, the raw 1907-O Quarter is now in the FedEx system - standard Overnight Express Mail. I sent it in an
"Express Submission" - which is approx. 5 business days.
I opted for a non holder if Genuine, submission.

As I have 30 calendar days to return it, I'll be okay.
I'd rather not return it - as I like the coin for what it is. I just don't want to have a lead weight around my neck
when it comes time to sell it.

Keeping my fingers crossed. !

I picked up a few middle of the MS Road Nickels last
night. The toning on these is about the best I have ever
seen. I paid a premium for them - but - I think I'll
keep these for as long as I can...

I have a decent collection of 1889 Nickels - here's
a new addition...





I just added a nice 1892 Proof - and thought this would
go well with it...





I have hunted for a nice 1894 for quite a few years -
this is as good as it gets, IMHO:





Another date that is now a duplicate - as I have a great
MS 64 already - but: Who could resist this ?





...and, last but not least... Have sought a MS 1912
with toning for - like - forever !!
