I have a 2000 Canadian Knowledge Toonie that appears to have a thickened area underneath the first "E" in "KNOWLEDGE."

It's difficult to capture a clear close-up photo, but I can see the thickening quite clearly under my microscope.

Has anyone come across something similar? Could this be a die error, or is it something normal?

I'm still learning about coin errors and would appreciate any opinions.

Not an error, circulation damage.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
