I always like to see helmeted portraits on coins : As to my favourite... well its very hard to choose but I have 1 odd tudor coin in my collection which is by no means the most valuable but for some reason seems special to me. Its a silver sixpence from Elizabeth I... a hammered coin that is old enough to be a relic yet young enough to be from recent history. Report this Post to the Staff

However, it is really more of a tie between 3, the gold $1, my 1857 Flying Eagle and my 20 Franc Gold Rooster. The gold rooster is perhaps one of the most beautiful coins every designed, at least in my opinion. The gold $1 Type II and the Flying Eagle are my favorite two US coin designs and either one is my favorite depending on the day. Report this Post to the Staff
