I was able to get all 3 coins from the mint recently

jsinger21, do you mean, that you bought 1912 - 1914 HS $5 coins from RCM directly after they were officially "sold out"?

Yes! I was dealing with a rep and I was informed that some people's credit card didn't go through and they have limited quantity. I was only able to buy 1 from each year. Call and find out.

Nice to know, thank you.

I've called the Mint couple of minutes ago:
I was afraid, that the reason of the delay of mine coin - that payment for some reason didn't come through.

So, everything fine with my order "they just have an additional delay, and your 1914 $5 will be shipped together with other's orders"

And they do not have any additional HS or Premium HS $5 for sale.

How do you get a "personal rep"?

Honestly, she found me after we had a very in depth call. She called me at home after a confusion with more than 1 order and asked me if I wouldn't mind dealing directly with her by email or telephone. I said sure. No extra fee to have a personal assistant.

Ummm, I'm not to sure that it's normal practice for them to do that. Did she give you a mint email address or her personal email?

Good for you ....usually I thought you had to be an MC member to get that service.

At one point in time, probably last October time frame, I was told I couldn't order online and have a personal rep. In so many words I was told, IF I was to continue to order online, then I would have to give up the personal representation.

You will love the Gold coins, they are beautiful.

Yes I was told only to order through the rep and not by telephone or email.

What is the benefit of having a rep? Ordering online can be done 24 hrs a day. What does the rep do that can't be done online or over the phone?

A rep can verify any inventory that is sold out and can grab one even if the web says, "SOLD OUT".

That 1913 $10 gold piece for sale on ebay PCGS MS63?
IMO if that coin was graded MS60, I would think it was borderline or still overgraded. Either PCGS dosen't know how to grade Canadian gold, or the wrong coin is slobbered. Would make me think twice about purchasing a Canadian gold horde coin if it is PCGS graded. I have always held PCGS grading in high regard, but this may be the worst example of them missing the grade that I personnally have ever seen.

I can contact the rep by either direct number at the mint or her email.
