I went through the rest of the rolls and found another 1983 and 8 more mounties, this being the best.

Canadian-Roll-Hunting
This was another nickel from a roll
Canadian-Roll-Hunting

And this dime from loose change
Canadian-Roll-Hunting

I have not checked the Mounties yet.I have a procedure when I search. I dump the roll and make 3 piles: keep, check and junk. The junk gets rerolled and some other time I sort the "check" pile. Then I can determine if they are a keep or a junk.

I had to show this one, it's just so nice.
Found it in a roll.

I have a mountie with the exact same misalignment on the reverse as yours! Perhaps they come from the same die?
I won't be able to upload pics until Tuesday since I'm away.

And by saying you found a silver dime in loose change, that means you got it in your pocket change? Pretty cool what can end up in people's pockets, unfortunately I'm not that lucky.

Very nice 1953 and 1964nickels. Too bad on the scratch on the 1953 though, does the 1964 have a scratch on the obverse too?

I searched a roll of 1980 quarters 19 near 17 far. Don't know if that means anything but there it is.
In a full roll of 1964 nickels, nothing special.
In a full roll of 1965 nickels no large beads, but that's no surprise.

I have found others but I will start a new thread for them later.

I have noticed that I've been underestimating grades, and have been throwing back a lot of AU to MS back into circulation. I felt that MS was visually perfect and AU had barely any signs of use but I was incorrect.
There are a lot of grey areas in terms I am learning.

My bank only had 30 rolls of pennies for me.

1940, 1941, 1950, 1951, 1957, 1959.

First time I didn't get a wheaty (mind u, it wasn't a full box). Copper pennies were way below the average as well.

Went through $500 in loonies today. Found a really nice Marine and Boreal to upgrade my book. Found a full roll of new 1994 war memorials
and then this..

Canadian-Roll-Hunting

It's a little rough but it is the first one I have seen. The colouring is very gold, similar to the 1999 loonie from the set.

Silver in circulation? Amazing! Just think of what that coin's been through to survive until today.

soulchief, I found my first UK penny in a Canadian roll! The roll was loosened somewhat though. That was one crazy penny roll, 1 1990 UK penny, 1 2008 Austrian Euro cent, 4 copper cents, 4 zinc cents, a 1952, a 1946, and a red 1975.

After over-optimistically reserving a spot for a 1936 Dot in my new penny album, I found this in a roll I marked as B-4! Second George V from a roll, and one penny closer to completing the Canadian small cents!

Don't know why my camera keeps making things look green, the penny is not green, but very dark brown almost black
