Can anybody figure out how those prices compare to today's prices measured against inflation

Devlec you are partially right the 48 dollar not a typo but my human error it is listed at 40.00 for nice circulated example, I was looking at the half.

According to the Bank of Canada inflation calculator, that $1000 for the '21 half would be $8145.70 today.

Dot cent for only 200? Back then it was still a lot. The thing is, I don't think that people even knew how rare the dot cent was (whatever that happened to it).
