But, this is the message I sent to the seller last night.

Quote:
This nickel you are trying to pass off as a Henning is not a Henning, but a normal 1942 nickel. This is the year that the mint transitioned to 35% silver nickels.

Henning nickels were dated 1939, 1944, 1946, 1947, and 1953
Here is a bit of reading material for you.

Asking $2,000 per worn out Buffalo nickel will assure their continued level of zero feedback.

Being high is probably the reason for their delusions.

Can't imagine why PCGS slabbed it the way they did .... should have been a doubled die.

Oh dear... what a load of hooey! But it could be yours for $1500

The variety of this particular coin includes UNC Detail and Wrapping Machine Damage, which makes it even more unique. ...

Perhaps different company will grade otherwise, I believe for that small ring on obverse PCGS went a bit harsh . Still has doubling on obverse and even on reverse, selling it super cheap in my opinion just for the "wrapping machine damage- unc detail"
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
