I don't know what I'm doing, but apart from wear, the scratches, and the hole in the middle, it looks OK... PF70++++ DCAM.

Well, I suppose the seller can use that method to his advantage. Take a completely worthless coin, slap it in a semi-professional 2x2 with a grade of VF, do that to the pictures, and see what happens on ebay.

The picture is part of the description, so the grade of VF is implied. Although that's subjective, the buyer could send it back if it's not as described. However, I wouldn't chance $16 on the prospect of probably having to send it back on 1857 Flying Eagle cent but I would on an 1877 cent.
