My 1964 quarter reverse is also into the rim and for some odd reason the reverse of the Ellis Island is into the rim at one spot. Maybe it was the introduction of the small grinders in with the dollars which will be their death nail. I think if anyone wants a successful pocket piece DO NOT use a proof (unless it has a special meaning for you) The deeper rims and struck twice details make them wear longer and the mirrored fields look horrible with even the slightest wear. The only reason I have 2 proofs in my pocket is the Ellis Island was fingerprinted when I got it and I bet I am the only person on earth with a circulated 2015P RP Roosevelt Report this Post to the Staff
