Quote: @Numisma, do you carry another coin with your JFK half? Yes, I also have an 1899 Barber quarter (formerly two), a heavily damaged 1829 large cent, and an 1885-O Morgan, the latter of which got a small rim ding this summer. I'm only tracking the half since it was the only one to start off in MS. I mentioned a little while back that I wanted to get a proof 2000 (birth year) Leif Ericson commemorative to add to the pocket. I wanted to start at the beginning of the year, but since that obviously didn't happen, I might keep with the 'birth year' theme and start on my 17th birthday this summer. Regarding the Bugs Bunny piece, I too am surprised that it's worn so quickly. I guess they're not made to last in circulation. If you keep it up, though, you're on track to having a nice certified PO-01.

My 3 pocket pieces. I have had these in my pocket for 14 months. The casino token was new and the 2 dollar coins had been circulated. I get some looks and questions when I pullout my change at the cashier.

Mine is a 1942 Republic of Ireland sixpence - the one with the Irish wolfhound. Love the design, and who can't use the luck of the Irish?

Here you are jbuck. My mistake, the 1950, not the '42. One of the few coin series I can think of with no monarch/president/dignitary or person of any kind on it. Just a dog. And designed by an Englishman which is a kind of delightful irony. Faol saol agat!
