My 1921 Morgan went into a Salvation Army red kettle last week....hopefully the person who goes through that kettle knows what to do with it. She has been replaced with a worn 1900-O Morgan that was a coin machine find back in June. Has a nice circulation cameo going on, but rim damage around the reverse rim (worst at about 12:30 position) due to being in the coin machine.

Here is the latest addition to my pocket collection as of today. Lots of gunk and toning (more visible in hand)...this will be an interesting adventure. He will ride around with my 1921-S Morgan which has been in there since right before Christmas and is what ultimately replaced my previous 1921 Morgan that went into a Salvation Army red kettle per my last post. And a 1969D Kennedy since late January, minted 50 years before Baby Hcmusicguy #3 was born. The Canadian goose dollar is still sometimes in there too.

Awesome that you have the coin and the note to go with it.

Very cool! I need to do an update, but not much has changed, really. I still carry my 1921-D Morgan every day without exception. You couldn't tell it was once gold-plated, but it will be some time before the deeper scratches are worn down.

A bit new here, although I've read the forum for a while now. I've gone through this whole thread, very interesting stuff! I have a few silver pocket coins myself. I'm not a photographer, but I will share some of my own photos. @jack jeckel How are those coins looking 10 months on from the last pictures? Those are looking very cool

Hi all! New to the forum, recently discovered it after finding exactly this topic. Really great community here! My girlfriend thinks I'm strange for carrying a pocket piece, so it's nice to see some like-minded people! - I have been carrying the silver eagle since I bought it in april 2018, so that marks just over a year. I've been living in New York for half a year doing an internship, and bought it during my time there. - The maple leaf was my first silver purchase (in 2014) and I've only recently started carrying that one. It's been around a month right now and it has (unfortunately) already suffered a rim ding. - I am going to add the final coin to my pocket as of today. It's the most recent commemorative €5 coin of the Netherlands. A number of commemoratives come out each year. They are legal tender and you buy them for €5. Basically the same program as the Canadian $20 for $20. Its silver plated copper so I'm curious how that one holds up. I apologize in advance for my photography, I tried but I realize my pictures aren't the best!

Sebrabo...nice wear on the Eagle...good to see one that isn't MS...reminds me of my dad carrying around constitutional silver...when they were minting it.
