Quote:I saw Canadian Coins had Superman gold Coin available for sale in the morning for $1250 each. Quote: Wonder if taxes are added to that $1250 They have the reward points and ship for free this coin, otherwise, do not see any reason buying for such price, if locally it sells for CAD 1.200

I noticed they've increased prices on all superman coins. This bodes well for ebay sellers, when dealers raise prices by large amount. They increased the $10 coin by $30 to $99.99.

If someone offered me $1,200 locally, I would take it. Keep in mind, dealers who are charging $1,250 will have to pay another $150 in taxes or $1400 total.

The Coin Shoppe has them for sale: 89.95 only and no limits (not mentioned the limit) Looks like worth for some quantity purchase, before they will increase in price.

So sure, $1200 locally is a good deal

Silveroid: Yeah, with the discount it's like $85, below the market price.
MoneyPenney and jsinger21: If you get it at issue price, I would take $1200 cash also.

Since I've decided to track some hot coins (maybe possible to find some formula), I following, just from the "regular buyer" perspective the 2014 Gold Superman coin:
Well, not surprisingly, but in the local market it dropped to the CAD 1.150 for coin "in hand".
And the action that I bid there: I am not the highest bidder, but it stands no on $855 / CAD 946 and the progress is very slow. Will be the CAD 1000 the winning bid?
Added: 2014 1/2 oz. Silver Coin - Iconic Superman still available at "The Coin Shoppe" for CAD 89.95

The byers here didn't not pay attention to the COA numbers: 0701/2000 0+7+0+1+2+0+0+0 = 10 ==> 1+0 = 1 which actually means "Action Comics #1" So although it be better for 2013 coin or 1/2oz Silver Coin, but still good.

Price dropped to the $1100 (see the other forum)
Together with this, Toronto local offers raised to $1200 (for coin in hand), since listings for $1150 disappeared.

finally got my 2014 Superman Gold...coin is PF70 which is a relief to me and better than the quality of the complicated 2013 design which, in my case, 2 out of 3 coins had major flaws...I like the design of the new superman and the fact that it is so different than the other gold Superman is a credit to the RCM designers......

With all the superman coins sold out at the mint, I came across a local Post office... they ordered, and received only 4 (just got them in today!) of the $10 silver ones http://www.mint.ca/store/coins/12-o....VBnoJ_ldVfYI got one for myself. If anybody else is still looking, pm me, and I'll see if they are still there. Nope... no gold ones were either ordered or received - I checked! LOL

Two gold delivered yesterday, both were loose in the RCM packaging, they don't sit snug in the recess area. 750.00 coin and crappy packaging

Quote: 750.00 coin and crappy packaging That's because the $750 - price of the coin only. The packaging - bonus from RCM. Like $1500 flight tickets to overseas in Economy - huge amount, but meals are inexpensive I am not serious for 100% but this is what we get everywhere
