attn: DVColletor, in my opinion I notice your date is diffrent then the others, note how your 1 is angled on yours. just a thought

When I get home from the holidays, I will study the coin more closely. From what I see now, the position of the "1" in 1890 against the bust/denticles appears to be correct. Secondly, I consider the slab-like serifs diagnostic of this variety--not easily explained otherwise. But after all, I have little invested in this coin and therefore I'm not dependent on a specific outcome.
