I have found a total of roughly 15, '87s in 250,000 coins searched. This total of 15 includes P, D, and S mints.

I have searched 1.6 million dollars in halves and have pulled 36-87D's and 58-87P's 16-87S's So they are scarce for sure.

Last Friday I picked up 8 boxes of halves I found 11, 40% and 1, 90% kennedy. My best find was this 1969S proof. Tomorrow I get 2 more boxes and Friday 6 more boxes the finds are nothing like they were a year ago  |

I forgot to order my boxes this week so I called local banks I always drive by to see if they had any. I picked up $26 worth and scored 1 - '64, 2 - '65, 4 - '66, 7 - '67, 8 - '68 and 2 - '69. This bank is going to be seeing me more.

Stopped at the bank closest to my eye DR. appointment, stop there every time I'm in town. They had 4 loose halves,4 SBA, no Ikes. Visited a little to be polite, then ask are you sure there are no rolls in the safe? Turns out they have 24 rolls. I take them all. First roll has a 1968, 5th roll has 1-67, 1-68, 2-69, a later roll had 2005P and 2005D in AU, beautiful pair. Webekin |
