A kindly teller at the bank where each week the manager orders two boxes of half dollars saved three silver half dollars for me when a customer cashed the coins. I found the other 1964 half dollar shown in the photograph in a box I acquired at a different bank. This silver coin broke an 8-box "skunk" streak. It has been tough going this year on the North Shore...
