The photo shows what I'm talking about but through further observation, I've come to the conclusion that its most likely PMD and was cut with a blade or something similar. I'm looking to get a 2nd opinion(or 3rd or 4th lol).
PSD , Post Strike Damage . It looks like the anomaly goes to and strait over the rim. This would mean the crack would have to include the collar which should not happen.
PMD it is and spend it I will ha! Silverstackerkid, the "crack" is raised but also split down the middle. I do have a couple of other coins that I'm about 90% sure are erronous; one in particular is a 1989 D penny that is a double strike on the reverse side. Pics of it will go up on my next post.
with what he ^^^^ agrees on that cascade said... sorry its late and bored... but on a serious note it definitely looks to be from a boxcutter or blade/knife of some sort that did this.
