My daughter and I found this coin. It looks like it haves some doubled in it. I would like more info on this coin.

Machine damage. The die scraped the devices during the ejection process. Very common and spendable. And that is not a penny,

Yes, I was thinking the same thing - that it doesn't look like the usual Machine Doubling I've run across.
