Those Buffalo coins at the bottom of the picture are probably silver rounds. We would need closer images. If they are a full ounce, worth about $20.00 each

Quote: Are those 2001 Buffalo dollars? Those are worth about $200 in MS67.
Congrats on the awesome finds! Hi They are the Commemorative Dollar and the Indian Buffalo Dollar. I believe it was sold originally in a set(?) I know little about the silver rounds ~~ Is it true than silver rounds are NOT marked ONE DOLLAR(?) And no mint mark? The coins are just put away. At one time the pair was in high demand money wise. My are not graded.

This morning I picked up the $100 in Ikes from the bank I mentioned here a few days ago. It turns out the teller had $175 worth, so, of course, I bought them all! the teller said this was an accumulation from several other tellers over time. He was glad to see them go so he would not have to count them every night. You can see in the photo there are no silver edges, but there is 1 gold edge. You can't see the ends of the "rolls", but if you could you would see there is a stickered ender. [/URL] I'll search for varieties over the next few days and report anything noteworthy. HH

Well, I filled 13 holes in my new Dansco as a result of sorting through the $175 in Ikes, but no great finds. There was 1 copper-nickel clad 73-S proof in decent condition, 8 stickered clad (not proof) of various years, and 1 gold plated 1971. Now I'll enjoy spending all the leftovers, a few here and a few there, to see the confusion on the faces of young cashiers HH

I decided I didn't need 100+ Ikes laying around waiting to be spent, so I put an ad on cl and sold 100 of them for $110 within 1 day...pretty good!

Picked up this beauty today. The bank says they have 200 Ikes in a bag that a customer ordered a while back and said they would sell them to me if he does not pick them up Friday.
