Just call 3 local coin dealers

One wanted $1.25 ~~ you can pick

One wanted $1.35 ~~ you pick

One said he did not have any at this time ~ but many times they just haul them to the bank

OUCH

I gave him my contact info ~~ told him I would pay a small premium for up to a few-several hundreds of IKEs

Beats him taking them to BANK

Will see what happens

not all 1976 IKEs are peggers

if they were, they would be less collectable

Domain 555, J buck - thanks. Ive been using my phone camera. How do you take pics? I tried to get closer up pics but they were much more blurry. I went to my bank to try to order some more, but the branch manager wasn't in, so I wasn't able to. I will try again tomorrow.

Coinlover1899 - I think all type 1 bicentennial are peggers.

The type 1 Bicentennial Ike has an intentional peg leg. The peg legs to look for are mainly on 1971-1974 Ikes.

Went to my bank this morning to get some more ikes ordered. Branch manager called the main branch to order like last time, but they seem to be out. He said he will try again on Monday.

Dual

Keep trying

I know it is hard (and costly) to go from bank to bank (and CUs)

You just never know what may happen

My friend with the teller who snipes silver on his behalf was recently contacted by said teller. The teller told him she had a 1871 dollar coin! He went to pick it up and found it was instead a 1971 Ike, doh! Apparently, she needs some training. Oh well, better luck next time.

I would still be happy with the 1971 Ike. Just saying.
